Delete your data, keep your account.

• Delete your account: open Hopfly, go to Settings → Delete account and confirm with your password or Google.
• Delete single things: hold a post or one of your comments and tap Delete. It's gone straight away.
• Delete all your data but keep the account: use the form below.

1. 1. Enter the email address of your Hopfly account and choose what to delete.
2. 2. We email you a 6-digit code. It's valid for 30 minutes.
3. 3. Enter the code and confirm. We tell you right here when it's done.

When you delete your account

• Your profile: name, email address, profile photo, sign-in (password or Google link) and sessions.
• Your posts with their photos and clips, captions, locations and tags.
• Your comments, likes and dislikes, saved posts and the posts you viewed.
• Your friends and friend requests, levels, XP, achievements and rank-up promotions.
• Your Hops, Pinto and its items, casino and lootbox history, game rooms, meetups and your answers to them.
• Your notifications, push and browser notification subscriptions, blocks, hidden commenters and the reports you sent.

When you delete your data and keep the account

• Your posts with their photos and clips, captions, locations and tags.
• Your comments, likes and dislikes, saved posts and the posts you viewed.
• Your friends and friend requests: you start without friends.
• Your levels, XP, achievements and rank-up promotions: you start at level 1.
• Your Hops, Pinto and its items, casino and lootbox history, game rooms, meetups and your answers to them.
• Your notifications, your catalogue requests and your profile photo.

When you delete your account

• 30 days: your account stays, hidden from everyone, so you can change your mind by signing in. Then it's deleted for good.

When you delete your data and keep the account

• As long as the account exists: your email address, sign-in (password or Google link) and sessions, your name, the result of the age check (never your birthday), your settings, the people you blocked or hid (so they stay blocked) and the reports you sent to our moderators.

Either way

• Up to 14 more days: copies in our database backups, which are overwritten after 14 days. They're used only to recover from a failure.
• Up to 90 days: server logs with IP addresses, kept for security, then deleted.
• If someone replied to one of your comments, an empty "Comment deleted" placeholder stays so their reply keeps its place. It contains nothing of yours.
• Points other people earned from your likes stay with them, without any link to you.
• The newsletter is separate: unsubscribe with the link in any newsletter.
