Is Hopfly really free to use?
Yes! Hopfly is completely free to download and use. All core features including posts, points, leaderboards, and basic challenges are available at no cost. We also offer an optional premium tier with advanced features like custom challenges and exclusive rewards.
Can I use Hopfly if I don't drink alcohol?
Absolutely! Hopfly works for any type of beer, even non-alcoholic. Many users enjoy gamifying their non-alcoholic exploration. It's all about the adventure and discovery.
Is my data secure and private?
Your privacy is our top priority. We use industry-standard encryption, never sell your data, and you have complete control over what you share. Your location is only tracked when you actively opt in, and you can delete your data anytime. You can choose with to share your pictures, whether you want them
How do the leaderboards work?
Leaderboards rank Hopflers based on hops (points) earned from posts, interactions, new beer discoveries, and completed challenges. There are weekly, monthly, and all-time leaderboards. You can compete globally or just with your friends. Rankings reset periodically to keep things exciting.
Can I share my posts just with friends?
You can choose whether your posts should be private or public by default. Even with this setting, you can still change the privacy setting of each individual post. You only have to share what you want to!
How do I report a problem or suggest a feature?
We love feedback! You can contact us directly through the app, send an email to support@hopfly.app, or join our Discord community. We're constantly improving based on user suggestions, and many features you see today came from Hopfler requests.
